to the sharing of experiments, to new and fertile meetings,
Variable because every project requires a complementarity of
talents, to maintain at its highest level the requirement of coherence and
artistic relevance. |

Jazz and improvised musics have an
opening equal to the spirit of freedom that this artistic field
claims. We find in the imuZZic objectives since its creation in 2000,
the echos of this characteristic : meetings between confirmed and
emergent artists, meetings between various musical styles, meetings between
different artistic disciplines (Visual arts, multimedia, poetry), human meetings
… A fast review
prove the creative vitality of this musician's collective, the successful bet
of the curiosity and the support of the public in an artistic comment without
concession and prove the capacity of the collective to articulate local anchoring, national and international brilliance. Manuela Gimeno

The imuZZic
collective is also supporing the creation of trans-disciplinary
projects using national and international
cooperations, the collective wish to explore what there is between the borders... They are working here for the relation betwwen jazz - european improvised music and the other cultures, parctising a
total muical fact rather than an unspecified form of aesthetic
intregism...

festivals... In it are added artistic residences, actions of sensitization,
interventions in schools or master-classes..
