Catherine Delaunay is
titular of a first price of clarinet and a price of chamber music
of the
Lyon CNSM
She works regularly with most of the big bands of Laurent Dehors
(like Tous Dehors)
and
Luc Lemasne (franco-cuban creation Le
Manacuba
in Havana and Paris) and she practice all the
clarinets, including the basset horn.
Improviser and composer,
she recorded an remarked album in duet with the
drummer Bruno
Tocanne and they played together since 2000 in many countries like in
Poland, Ukraine, Japan
(with Dave Burell), in
Montréal and in many festivals in France...
She has created the little
brass band "Y'en
a qui manquent pas
d'air"
with Daniel Casimir,
Didier Havet, Bruno Tocanne
and Lionel Martin.... A first
record was done in 2004.
She also played with the
orchestras of Daniel Goyonne,
Jean-Marie Machado, Claude
Tchamitchian ...
and played a long time with Bruno Tocanne for Agapes in Lyon, inviting some
of famous musicians
like Denis
Badault, Louis Sclavis,
Emmanuel Bex, Serge Lazarevitch....
She played with Jean-Philippe Viret,
Alain
Blesing, Senem Diyici....
2005 / She actually plays
with Régis Huby in the
Lambert Wilson's
Orchestra, with the new Bruno Tocanne Trio in company of Laurent
Dehors, in trio with Benot
Dunoyer and Edouard Ferlet....
